In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "A strange encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret cult.

The questline centers on "peculiar trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Changes

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations.
